We design in England, in the quiet of the Lincolnshire countryside, and partner with the historic glass masters of the Bohemian borderlands — a region with over 130 years of unbroken crystalline expertise. Why Lead-Free Crystalline
Traditional lead crystal has a deserved reputation for brilliance and weight. But lead is a toxin, and the weight that people associate with quality is actually a limitation — a thick, heavy rim interrupts the delivery of spirit to palate. It gets in the way.
Modern lead-free crystalline offers the same refractive brilliance and acoustic resonance — the ring when two glasses meet — but with greater strength and none of the health concerns. Critically, it allows us to draw the rim thin. That fine edge is not a cost-saving measure. It is a functional necessity for anyone who takes their whisky or brandy seriously.
